Conduct
10. All students must adhere to the academic integrity policy.
11. Chewing gum or similar substances must not be brought into school.
12. Students should keep the campus free of litter.
13. The school provides students with electronic access to local, national
and international networks. Accessing of material not meant for
students is strictly prohibited. Every student has the responsibility to
respect and protect the right of every other user on the network,
including those related to confidentiality and intellectual property.
14. Students are not permitted to loiter outside classrooms or
laboratories. When using staircases and corridors, students are
requested to keep to the left. However is case of emergency
evacuation students need to come down in a single file keeping to the
right leaving the left open for emergency services.
15. Students are expected to show due courtesy to all, especially those
who are physically challenged or are much younger in age, especially
in the use of common facilities.
16. NMAJS students are not permitted to bring mobile phones to school.
17. Inappropriate behaviour such as overt public display of affection or the
use of inappropriate language is not permitted.
Discipline
18. The school has a 'zero tolerance' policy to dangerous items being
brought to School. Violation of this rule will be subject to disciplinary
action.
19. The school has a 'zero tolerance' policy with respect to possession,
supply or use of illegal drugs, tobacco, e-cigarettes, alcohol or any
other socially unacceptable substances, both in school, on school trips,
or in any public space. Any student found to be violating this policy will
be subject to strict disciplinary action, which may include expulsion
from the school.
20. Any incident of theft will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.
