School Rules
School rules apply to all students from the time they leave home for school
until they have returned home at the end of the school day, or while taking
part in any activity/event organised by or related to the school.
Students are expected to contribute to the positive shared learning
atmosphere in the classroom, by co-operating with the teacher, getting
work done on time, contributing to discussions, collaborating with peers,
asking questions and avoiding distractions.
NB: The school reserves the right to make changes to the school rules,
which will be duly communicated to students and parents.
General
1. Students at all times will behave well and sensibly and show courtesy,
consideration and respect for others, and do nothing that will bring
the school's name into disrepute.
2. All school rules apply to students when they are travelling on the
school bus. Continued disorderly conduct will be sufficient reason for
refusing the school bus service to a student.
3. The school has a 'zero tolerance' policy towards any form of bullying,
including ragging and electronic abuse. Any student found indulging
in such practices will be subject to strict disciplinary action.
4. Students must not bring any valuable item to school.
5. Parents can upload money to their child's wallet on the school portal.
This amount can be used for various payments and so, under normal
circumstances, students should not bring money to school.
6. All personal property of students must be clearly labelled. The school
does not accept responsibility for personal items brought to school
and is not responsible for articles lost by students.
7. Articles found lying about should be handed over to the staff at the
reception on the ground floor.
8. Neither parents nor students should give money or gifts to the staff of
the school.
9. Students must not take part in any public show or competition during
school hours unless the Head of the student’s section approves of such
an activity in advance.
