h. Students are not permitted to wear ostentatious or expensive
jewellery, watches, wristbands or similar accessories. Students
may only wear one pair of small earrings.

i. Students are not permitted to come to school with any make-up,
including nail polish.

Attendance & Punctuality
25. Students are expected to attend school when school is in session.

a. In case of absence:

(i) a telephone call / email from a parent is required before
commencement of school or at the earliest.
(ii) a doctor's certificate is required for absences due to illness for
three or more days.

b. Appointments with the doctor or dentist should be scheduled
during holidays and after school hours.
Parents are asked not to take students out of school during
scheduled school days.

c. Parents are requested to see that their children are punctual to
school. Students are expected to be in school by 8:10 a.m.
d. Students are strictly forbidden to leave the school premises during
the regular school hours without the express permission of the
Section Head.

e. Students must be present in school on the day of closing and
reopening before and after the vacations (Spring, Summer, Diwali
and Christmas).

f. Parents are discouraged from taking children from school for
holidays during school days. Leave of absence must be applied for
in advance, and only when they are convinced of its absolute
necessity, unless it is a case of injury to or illness of the student.
Application for leave written by the parent / guardian should be
addressed to the Head of your child's section and submitted
