Letter from the Chairperson and the Vice-Chairperson

Dear Parents,

A school is uniquely placed to be the architect of children's academic progress
and holistic development. It imparts them knowledge, develops their
skillsets, and instils in them sound values. It nurtures them to be curious and
enthusiastic learners. It teaches them how to learn and facilitates them to
apply what they have learnt. It shapes their physical health and mental well-
being and encourages them to learn both as an individual and in groups. A
school sets the context and contours for children to develop themselves to be
good human beings.

Ever since we founded Dhirubhai Ambani International School (DAIS) two
decades ago, we have always given the highest priority to creating a culture of
excellence and building a happy and inclusive school. In all our efforts, we
have put in our heart and soul to provide a world-class education to our
children. By exploring new curriculum pathways, reinventing pedagogical
practices, and collaborating with globally acclaimed institutions, DAIS has
evolved and reinvented itself as a forward-looking institution.

With the launch of our new school - Nita Mukesh Ambani Junior School
(NMAJS) – in the academic year 2024-25, we are all set to redefine and
reimagine how we teach and how children learn. In our quest to prepare
children for the 21st century, we will follow an amalgam of instructional
strategies that give primacy to inquiry-based learning, conceptual
understanding, experiential learning, differentiated instruction, collaborative
learning, creativity and innovation, and values-based learning. The focus on
student agency will enable children to take more ownership of their learning
and learn at their own pace.

All our children, teachers and staff, as well as parents, are excitedly looking
forward to starting our new journey from the NMAJS campus. This uniquely
designed state-of-the-art campus is waiting to welcome our children to a new
and happy learning experience, where they will have immense opportunities
to learn collaboratively and receive enhanced opportunities for personalised
learning. We are sure that this new learning environment will inspire them to
live the vision and mission of our school and transform every student to be the
best version of themselves.
